Sexual Harassment at workplace, are women always right !?
Seems there is always some news for our Indian News Channels and they never seem to go out of business on creating SMS Polls. Latest news today is some Madam X has accused her director of company of sexual harassment, the man in question also coincidently happens to be her performance manager. I am not saying here the accused is not guilty and he must be indeed be punished severely if found guilty, but the point is how women's can easily use the one-sided law. The accusation it seems is based on an email which was not in "good taste" Assume if the accusations are false which is indeed true in some cases, the accused will suffer irrecoverable loss and ruined for life, will anybody care about this ? the TV channels are making big noise about the name of the people involved, for god sake, see the problem with a clear mind, and act !!.
Between all those people who are forwarding mails on hourly basis into their mailing lists, be careful, it will not be surprise if i see your beautiful faces on news soon :D.
PS: again nothing against the employee who has put this accusation, but until its proved let it be just an accusation.

Hmmm i completely agree with what u say santo ... Ur a Gentleman Until ur Caught , But i do seriously believe we need to have a fair handling of these accusations, since nobody knows for sure what really happened . If found guilty the accused should be punished.
However we are still trapped in a prism of time where we think a woman can always be a victim and never be a perpetrator of a Sexual Harassment … which isn’t correct. Equality of sex's should be applicable everywhere , not just at some cozy places to suit one.
As this discussion is making a rave in Indian MNC work place what is in or out of the guidelines of sexual & Courteous behaviour, But now we have to see in the context of changing attitude and working behaviour. Now we are not working from 9 to 17 job, Our 12 to 16 hr's are spend in the office, People really don't mind to be in pubs on friday nights and some times we are taken by surprise by other sex by her attitude in either way. It's really hard to define the line and in Indian working culture it is going to be more tough where openness and humor can be taken in both sens,But we have to live with that.Now the time has come that companies should be strict with respect to the use of official mail.
